ATM Studio specializes in creating fluid, effective, closer, yet high-centric but sometimes tempestuous, catchy, and even rheumy Indonesian localization. We commit to promoting our own Soulscript-style Localization products. A fluid, innovative, and more natural service that delivers superior yet measurable values of good and correct Bahasa Indonesia.
Here in ATM Studio, our product is strongly based on translation scripts, and we like to call it High Profile In Your Face localization product. That doesn't merely have a better translation but can be felt right on our faces, go into our brains, and be easy to understand.
Our Story
BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS. Those could be the best description of our history. Back in 1996, we were still working for one of Indonesia leading private television companies SCTV. We were tasting years of audio and video experience on many projects such as movies, talk shows, documentaries, television series, etc, in a "no-script" environment to make it worse. Skill-wise, basically our company's experience started there. The start that made us seasoned professionals. This probably makes us the only Indonesian subtitle & voice-over service company with real experience in the industry.
THE SHOES. As the industry progresses, we realized that there was a need in Indonesia for a better localization product with more natural Bahasa Indonesia. So in 2005, we launched ATM Studio in our garage on a shoestring budget. And there it was. A combination of a relentless, pigheaded, and less smart engineer that is just so into building workstation computers, acoustic studios, equipment, and lastly websites. And a fastidious but lenient administration graduate with long translation experiences, with an arsenal of her own trained translators. Now, though ATM is not in the garage anymore, we're still the two geeks who are still willing to tie our shoes.

Here at ATM Studio, we are a group of artisan people led by experienced broadcast practitioners, challenged to change that regular and mediocarely produced audio/video localization, into more natural content and closer to the Indonesian public. That was our small smiling group of people who become our main team.

But in the industry, we know we can not go by ourselves. So we partner with our long senior reviewers, proofreader, our regular subtitles, and translators. We know that no talent deserves to starve, so we're searching for jobs and offering them a seat at the table. Now we are gathering more experienced talents.
And since the industry is expanding, we know more than anyone that the quality should expand too, so now we train new talents, molding them up to our own professional standards and taste. And that's precisely the way we like it. We can produce more team members as our family. Produce new people within our criteria and taste.
